How long does it typically take from first meeting to closing on a new home?

Most of our clients go from first consult to move-in in 12–14 months. The build itself averages 9–10 months; the rest is pre-construction, lot selection, plans, and financing.

What do I need to do to prepare for our first meeting?

Bring inspiration images, a rough budget, and any notes on lots you're considering. We'll provide a ballpark cost estimate, talk through our process, and honestly tell you whether an owner-build fits your life.

How does your pricing work?

Flat fee on top of construction costs. Our most affordable plan is 6.5% of build cost — compared to the 10–12% most general contractors charge. See the pricing page for a full breakdown.

Are you a licensed general contractor?

Yes — several members of our team are licensed and insured general contractors in Utah. Your project is managed with professional expertise and the highest standards of safety.

How much savings can I realistically expect?

Clients typically save 15–20% vs traditional builders. That's a combination of lower fees, supplier discounts, and faster builds (less construction-loan interest).

What level of involvement is required from me?

You'll make the key decisions — finishes, layout, trade selections — but we guide every step. Most clients spend 2–4 hours a week on the build at peak.
